Hey there!

Has anyone bothered installing an LCD in their old school Mac? I am looking to scoop up an LCIII and thought it would be awesome to get a little 8GB SSD or CompactFlash card to use.

Does it work? Is it "fast"? How's it run!?

Get a CompactFlash card. A SSD would be wasted with even a mid-range CompactFlash card being able to fully use the LCIII's bus. What are you going to use as an adapter for the LCIII's SCSI bus to PATA/EIDE or SATA?

Those are two very valid points I hadn't yet considered, which I probably should be considering.

Thanks for the input.
