SSD performance

just wanted to find out if SSD performance slows down as the SSD fills up like it does on HHD's?
Eg on a 512Gb SSD will things slow down once its nearly full?

If it is almost completely full like say 495GB of 500GB used, yes it will slow down as there is less rom for cache and swap files, but beyond that extreme, no it will not slow down. For example, it will be no slower when it is 2/3 full than when 1/3 full.
