Hi!

I have a 2009 iMac with SSD drive.

I installed the utility Onyx and when running it it said I need to run disc utility to repair my bootup drive (which I did).

Disc utility said that the drive can not be repaired.

The computer (seems) to run well, so I'm wondering if any one else has had this kind of experience??

It sounds like there is an error on the drive that Disk Utill cannot fix while you are booted to the same drive. Boot from the install DVD (hold C while booting) and run Disk Util from the setup screen that comes up.

im running mountain lion, there is no install dvd ... ?

Do a command-r boot to ML recovery and select Disk Util from the Utilities menu in the startup screen.

If that does not work, you can still do this with your old iMac install DVD if you still have it.
