how is the quality of toshiba SSDs? is it better than OCZ's?
just curious about the wear of SSD through the years.

i got the 13/4GB/128GB btw

MacWorld tested the SSD in MBAs and after their "torture test", the drive was as fast as when it was first used. Also, Lion and most likely 10.6.7 will support TRIM so that should make it even better.

The SSDs Apple use are based on 34nm flash and each block can be rewritten 5000 times. That is 640TB of data. NANDs will lose their charge after ~10 years so that will most likely happen before the NANDs would wear out due to usage.
