I just recently purchased online a macbook pro with an ssd installed from apple. Where can I look on my macbook to find more info regarding the ssd itself. I tried clicking on the :apple: and then choosing About this Mac option but didnt see anything regarding the ssd itself. Is it located somewhere else or is there an application that I can download that would detail the specifics regarding the ssd on my macbook pro.

Just wondering.

You were on the right track but you have to click the "More Info..." button once you're there, then you'll be brought to the System Profiler. It'll be under Hardware > Serial-ATA. Hope this helps! :)

You were close. Go back where you were in the System Profiler (from about this mac) and select the Serial-ATA entry on the left and you will see your drive info as in my screen cap above from my iMac.
