Where ever my life takes me...
Hey all,

I currently have a 13" MBP 2.26GHz with 2GB RAM. I also have a 500GB hard drive with 98GB left of free space.

I've noticed that my Mac runs slow at times. I get the beach ball a lot too.

Is this due to my hard drive and if I were to upgrade to a SSD, would that improve my performance? Do I need more RAM?

Thanks,

Habitus

I have been getting a similar issue, just starting to feel a little sluggish from time to time. I am ordering 4GB of RAM on payday :D !!

U need to boost your machine up. Get 4GB of RAM, get an Intel SSD, install a fresh copy of snow leo and you will be smoking.

SSD's are pretty much a must in laptops nowadays. :D
