Since it is so easy to do now, what type of SSD should I get to put into my new MB, where would I get it? What is the best brand to get right now, I think the ones Apple uses are Intel, are those the best?
get what you can afford. with ssds, cost should be your main concern. i have an ocz core ssd that i'm dying to try on the new mbs, but it'll be a couple days until mine arrives.

honestly, i wouldn't buy an ocz ssd. i've experienced a lot of freezing and hanging problems with mine. not sure if it is due to the chipset or the drive, but it can be annoying. the best ssd drives out are SLC based, but can cost $600+
Intel X25-M is currently the best. Although I don't think Apple uses the Intel SSD, since the Intel drive comes in 80GB and 160GB, but the one in the Macbooks is 128GB.
