I have owned this MBP for about 1 year 6 months, and for the past 8-9 months or so it has been telling me the start up disk has critical errors and that i need to replace it. I have ignored these errors and nothing bad has happened, because, hey how bad could it be? (everything is backed up so i can restart on a new drive if i really have to)

I just tried to update the OS, and it would not let me due to a SMART error, so i used DriveDx to see what was happening, and it looks like (screenshot below) the value for the error is within tollerance at 28?

So the questions are:

The raw value looks like some crazy hex value - what is going on here?
Do i actually have an issue here or it it just missreporting because of some error in the monitoring?
Can i force the install regardless of SMART errors?

Many thanks in advance!
