Ssd setup

So I'm looking at buying a new mbp soon and with it I would like to purchase an ssd and put the hdd in the optibay. My question is how do I go about installing the os and apps only on the ssd while all the files get written to the hdd. I also would need to install windows on the ssd and use it with parallels. Which is he best way to go about this?

This is how I would do it.

I would clone my OSX install to the SSD (which is in an enclosure)
Then I would pop the SSD in the Mac with it's disc drive
Install my bootcamp
Install the optical bay set up with the SSD in the main slot and HDD in the caddy.
Move a lot of my home folder to the HDD using symbolic links, I saw a tutorial somewhere, but I can't find it.

Feel free to correct my process, as I have yet to do it (my SSD arrives Tuesday)
