Do you guys think apple will bump the base 128G SSD in the 13" air to something a bit higher? Maybe 180?

SSD Size Predictions for the 2012 Air Refresh??

I'd be a little surprised if they did so. The target market for the MacBook Air doesn't need a lot of storage, so there'd be little benefit to Apple in doing so. At most, we might see a new high-end 512GB option, but I'd be fairly surprised by that as well.

Depends entirely on what happens with the Macbook Pro 13". If it stays, then the SSD capacity will remain as it is in the current models. If it is axed then I can see them increasing SSD capacity to try make up for those who would have normally chosen a Pro over the Air.
One thing I do want to see is user upgradeable RAM. I know it's very unlikely though, unfortunately.

Well, at 512GB, I'll upgrade. But when I look at 512GB SSDs at retail, I'm dissuaded from thinking we'll see an MBA with that size SSD anytime soon.
I have to make serious storage compromises at 128, and I still have to be careful at 256. At 512, with decent graphics capabilities, I could find a new home for my i7 MBP.
I'd like nothing better than to do that, but I cannot imagine it will actually happen with the 2012 refresh.

I am hoping for 180 as the base and 384 as the top. My 2011 with 128 is at critical HD space so this time around I will have to opt for more, so hoping its still the base model..
Upgradable RAM would be a nice addition as well.

I'm hoping for a 512gb BTO. I ditched my MBP a few months ago looking to switch from an air, and it had a 500gb hdd in it. Really wanna stay away from having to utilize an external but still have my music/movie/tv collection on my air lol

The amount of storage in my MBA isn't that relevant to me since I have plenty of storage on my home network, which also serves as a personal cloud. I have the 256 gig model and that's plenty. I only keep it about 50% full since it's mostly apps. Data gets moved off to other wireless storage and it can be accessed from anywhere.

That's gonna be one very expensive MBA! 8GB upgrade will probably run close to $200. 512GB upgrade will... sheesh, I don't even know how much that'd cost!
