Hi forum

After installing a Kingston HyperX 3K and afterwards realizing there's no way to achieve more than SATA1 speeds of 1.5 Gigabit even though the SSD is a 6.0 Gigabit SSD.

I'm now in the market for a new SSD which one should i buy to make sure (or have best chances) of getting 3.0 Link Speeds? Searching google reveals on ton of problems especially with the newer OCZ ssds it seems.

My best guess is: Samsung 830 256GB

I have a OCZ Vertex4 lying next to me but unopened as i'm afraid it wont work.

What are you guys running?

Macbook Pro 2009 mid - Mac model 5,5 - Nvidia MCP79 AHCI

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Best regards
Stefan
