Hello all
I would like to replace the (broken) HHD in my old mbp from mid 2007 with a 160GB SSD. I do have the following questions/concerns:
Which is the size of the SSD I need? (1.8 or 2.5")
Do i need special/other connection plugs?
How does the complete process work? Any dangerous parts? Does any vids are recommend?
Many thanks for helpful advices!

Thanks a lot for your help!!
A little question left: my mbp supports sata I (1.5), will it work with a sata II ssd?
Whats important to look for when I buy the ssd (I guess read/write speed for sure...anything else?)

As S-ATA is backwards compatible, it will work.
I have an S-ATA 6.0 Gbps (S-ATA III) SSD in my 2009 MBP with an S-ATA 3.0 Gbps (S-ATA II) interface.

As for SSD, read and write speed are important and random access speed (IOPS).
