hey all.

been looking around on the internet about the imac and noticed some people have got a ssd upgrade for their imac I also noticed allot of this is in america.
Some of you may have noticed my other thread on buying a imac for myself but I don't want to pay all that money for a apple pre installed ssd. Is there anywere in the UK that will do the ssd fit?

thanks!

Hi Danny, there are a number of Apple Authorised Service Providers. Your best bet is to search on the Apple site or Google for your nearest one.

Depends where you live but where I am in Glasgow, there are 2 or 3. I enquired to one about an SSD replacement and they quoted me £70 - which doesn't seem unreasonable - and if they're Apple Authorised, your warranty remains intact.
