Guys, I see new MacBook Pros spec says the HDD is SSD. While, the previous macbook's are with Flashdrive. In general both are the same , but originally the SSD are based on RAM, while the flashdrive is based on non-volatile memory. Does it mean the new MacBooks drive is real SSD based on RAM? Or the same flash drives ?

Flash storage was Apple's term for SSD. Now that SSD is a more recognized term it looks like they've switched to just using that instead.
