It's already in OSX - Terminal.app

If you're looking to do some tunneling, Secret Socks is nice.

thanks for your answers. is there a program other then ZTerm that will allow me to connect to a router/switch directly over a console cable? i am using a usb to console connector i have tryed ZTerm and it sucks.

OK. What is it about Zterm that sucks? There are a lot of terminal emulators out there with the ability to communicate over serial lines, but there are no magic bullets. Exactly what is it that you want this mythical superior serial terminal emulator to do?

Back when I was in a situation where I could have a console connection to my switch, I used minicom. Not sure if it would work with a USB->console connection, though.

Have you tried PuTTY for Mac? I use it for all remote connections on any Windows machines I work on, and it should work with Console connections.
