I finally could jailbreak my iTouch using iPodTouchMaster guide so i have now the 1.1.3 already installed however as some of you my Installer app doesn't work properly (it doesn't crash but installs apps but they're not shown in the main screen) so in a post I found a fixed Installer.app, so what I did is to open ssh and transfer the files.
Here is the weird thing, I get connected to my ipod and it seems to be transfering files from my computer but it stops when it reaches 100% or about that and that's all it does. Aparently the ftp client tries to copy/replace the files but no file is transfered completely so in the end i ended up with an Installer.app folder with all the files but with no content in them (0 Kb shown next to the file name).
I've tried first with Filezilla and then with another ftp client that supports ssh however both can't transfer the files properly so now I don't have Installer.app as such as all its files are empty :s
I know the safest way is to start again from 1.1.1 but is there any logic in why my iPod (accepting ssh connections perfectly and listing folders/files) is not allowing to transfer/replace files?
