Hi, I've enabled remote login and can connect to my iMac running HighSierra 10.13.3 from an external source so all is good with that. My question is how can I add users (whom don't have a a local account on my iMac server) ?

Let's say I'd like to share a large file with my mate Steve, in the good old days I would add a user account for Steve on my Windows FTP-server but on my Mac... I guess it's possible but how?

You can add a user here: System Preferences>Users & Groups

Be sure to allow them access via System Preferences>Sharing>Remote Login
and/or
System Preferences>Sharing>File Sharing

Of course, you *could* set up FTP access if you really wanted to. <insert usual anti-FTP diatribe here>

Thanks, I knew where I add users but didn't know I could add users with only "Sharing Access" =) Now all those users won't clutter my login scree, Thanks!
