I recently noticed that I'm having SSL Connection errors when my 2018 Mac mini is connected to ethernet. I've tried the native ethernet port and I also have a USB C ethernet port. Both have the same experience. If I disconnect the ethernet and use the WIFI only which is the same network, everything is fine.

I noticed this when I was trying to upgrade to Monterey and was struggling. I finally manually downloaded Monterey and did a clean install but the issue persists.

Time is correct on MacOS. I've booted into safe mode and same issue.

Any thoughts? This is pretty frustrating.

Example. I go to Cisco's website to download Webex and Safari says "an ssl error has occurred and a secure connection to the server..." Same issue with Chrome.

Someone help :(

What device is on the other end of the ethernet cable? Is it the same wifi router that's ok or something else? Check the configuration on that device.

Its directly connected to my Linksys Velop Node.

Fixed. Instead of connecting directly to Velop node, I went into the switch connected to Velop. Weird.....
