Hello, how are you?
I am wondering if an external 4 bay USB 3 enclosure like the Silverstone SST-TS431U, would allow me to create a raid 10 array in disk utility.
If the enclosure supports JBOD under USB 3.0, then disk utility would see the 4 individual disks and would allow me to create two separate mirrored volumes and then a new stripped volume with the two mirrored volumes.
But that is just theory.
Does anybody know if it works in practice?
The enclosure is this one:

This one by Fantec is also an option:

Thanks for your help.
Best regards.
