I am trying to figure out if stacking external hard drives right on top of each other is a problem.

I have my Airport Extreme on the bottom, then my internet modem, Time Machine HD and then my 500 GIG external on top. Do i have to worry about issues with things getting damaged or deleted due to the magnetic fields.

If this is a problem can i please get some recommendations.

Thanks

No they will be fine. The HDs are not even touching - just their enclosures.

Personally I would try to spread them out for cooling, but HDs don't mind a little heat. l
