Stacks a bit slow and stage lagged, same with folders in launchapad

Before i upgraded to lion in snow leopard, the application folder stack was not smooth when i first clicked it to come up at all it like opened in stages and lagged up, now it is having the same effect in 10.7 with the folders in launchpad, does anyone know why these are so 'not smooth'?

They're lagging, but you just get used to it. There really isn't much you can do except be patient. And wait for later releases that may be updated as far as animation go.

So this isnt just my computer? it does it on other peoples too? cos i asked my mate with white macbook which has much lower specs that my iMac and his doesnt lag?

It's a bit laggy on my 2010 MacBook Pro too. I bet they'll upload a patch soon enough to smoothen things out - they usually issue a graphics update.
