I've got a couple of stacks on the dock which I find pretty useful, apart from one thing... the option to open the folder in the finder often bends of the screen and cannot be selected. Any useful ideas on how to click this? (I know I can open the folder via finder, but just trying to make use of convenience of the stack; just seems a crazy flaw that the top of the stack bends of the screen!). Cheers, a.

I've noticed this problem too. Shift clicking the folder to instantly access it in the desktop is the solution I use. You can also change the style it uses by right clicking on it from "automatic" to "grid" or "list". The problem exists with the "fan" option only.

Glad someone else has noticed it; hard to believe it has persisted in 3 versions of the OS... tried the shift click, but it just does the slow animation on my machine.
