Stage Manager Window Placement

So I liked Stage Mananger in iPadOS16 and I was excited to see the improvements with iPadOS17 with window sizing. One thing I'm not liking is that in now you can't dock a window in the corner and take up full full screen vertically. There's always a little cushion now. Not sure if there is possibly a setting to make it more like iPadOS16?

No, it's frustrating, Apple thinks everything automated is the way, but they should and have realized that they can't always reinvent the wheel.
