Stainless Series 2 shipping times?

After a bit of a snafu with ordering the iPhone 7+ (hint: don't change your mind on what color you want after you've gone past the carrier verification page), I was delayed by a little bit ordering a new watch.

By the time I got to it, the two models I was considering - the SS w/ white sports band and SS w/ brown leather - were shipping September 30. At that point (maybe 3:15-3:20?) all of the aluminum models were still showing 9/16 for delivery. I'm just curious if anyone got a stainless for 9/16 delivery.
 
I got into the store around 12:09 am.

I FIRST bought my iPhone 7 plus 256.

and once i paid for it.

THEN I bought my Series 2 42mm stainless steel.(white band)

My order says it will ship in 6-8 days.

Not really stressed. I expect watch OS 3 to be like a whole new watch. Bought series 2 for the screen brightness and speed bump. cause i use the heck out of this thing.
 
I could swear that the stainless steel with white band 42mm was never available to deliver on the 16th.....I settled for the Black SS.
 
Forgot to mention I ordered the 38mm SS. And yeah, I have yet to be disappointed by Apple's delivery estimates. Almost every time it's arrived before. I upgraded to the SS from SG for the screen hardness primarily, but also OOH SHINY.

My 7+ is preparing for shipment. Yay.

I ordered mine as early as i could Sept 9.. like 330am ET maybe give or take 5 minutes. Its a series 2 BLK SS w/ black sports band 42mm. It currently reads: Processing items Delivers: Sept 26th-28th. I hope the theory about over estimating ship dates is true..
 
Ordered 5 mins after the store was up in the UK delivery date 16th

Ordered mine through the apple store app at 303am and got the Black SS with link that I have been wanting since I bought the Apple Watch Sport to see if I would actually use it (i did every day since day one btw) so i got a nicer one this year. The delivery date is next friday.

Could have ordered it with the link band and received it for the 16th.
But at $400+ just wasn't worth it.
 
Got into the Apple Store via IOS at 3:06 EST and ordered a 42 SS w/saddle brown strap. I got the confirmation at 3:17.

Delivery to Mississauga, On Canada for Sept 27-29.

Hoping it will get pushed up but was surprised. I had this watch saved as a favorite so didn't notice if others were available sooner. Must be a supply issue with some models.
 
Got mine for the 16th. Ordered it right after ordering my phone.

US ordered via the app at around :01. Wanted the SS White sport band initially but shipping estimate started the 26th I believe and I've always eyed the Milanese loop.

UPS Track by reference trick shows my watch departed china today :). First time in my preorder history I've gotten this lucky.
