I’m having a hard time deciding on silver or graphite. I love the silver with a brown leather strap combo, and I’ll be honest I like how it looks a little flashy. The graphite with the Milanese loop looks great too. Does anyone have a comparison or good reason for one over the other?

I take the graphite because the silver‘s not the best with the scratches resistance

Does the graphite do better with scratches? I’ve always had silver stainless And the 7 is my first graphite and I wasn’t sure what to expect with it and scratching.

But you can buff scratches out with a cape cod cloth. I’ve had 3x Silver SS watches and they all looked pristine after buffing. I decided to go graphite for the S7 as I fancied a change.

Except you can buff out scratches on the Silver which you cannot do with the Graphite. If scratches are a concern, I would get the silver every time.

I had SBSS and then Graphite for the S6. I felt the SB or Graphite ML contributed to causing scratches.

Why are forum members so concerned about scratches? Rolex watches get scratched over time, as do Omega, SS swatch. Any metal watch.

I used to be hyper concerned about scratches. I have learned to move on and just enjoy the watch or the iPhone or the iPad or even our iMac. Devices should be utilized in ways that facilitate the user, with the less stress the better.

The only mark on a watch you should be concerned about is a ‘dent’, as that would indicate a heavy knock to the mechanism.
