I’m not seeing much in terms of people getting this watch. I ordered 2 Stainless Steel watches both had a 10/12-10/19 delivery date. The gold watch has already been shipped and shows a delivery date of 9/27. But my Space Black is not showing any movement.

Please post here if you have any movement on your Space Black watches.

Mine is still showing in Shizhou, China. But yet I’m quoted for a delivery day by Tuesday, the 25th at the latest. There is some type of manifest error where I was predicted to be delivered for my watch on the 21st, which obviously that did not happen.

Your original delivery date was 9/21? You must have placed your order immediately after preorder go live.

I placed my order within _less_ than a minute after the mobile App Store went live. (I was originally predicted a 09/28-10/05 date) but moved to the 21st. There have been *many* in this same situation where they are not receiving their watches on the day they were predicted, for whatever reason, it’s mainly the stainless models.

Was able to order one at 3:03 or 3:04 EDT (ordered the phone first) with Milanese Loop for launch day (21st). Interestingly with the Sport Band it immediately had week later delivery :-(

Arrived on Friday as confirmed. Good luck with your orders.

Got mine at Apple on launch day. Cancelled my pre-order that was scheduled for 9.28-10.2. Also there is about 10 hundred other delivery threads. Not sure we need one for every make, model, combination and forecasted delivery date.

Odered mine when the page went live on the east coast. It was late. Got my email for SS SB 44 sport band and was set for 9/28-10/2 delivery time. Has been no movement on it. Have checked the 2 stores in the area and they didn’t get black. I could have had gold but don’t want it.

Keep praying the order moves or I find local stock.

as in the past the black stainless inventory was not sufficient to cover the orders. I got mine on Friday but I ordered another for a gift and still no notice of shipping. The DLC process takes time I guess but Apple should have know this would be one of their best sellers.

Ordered mine on att at 315am est and got 9/21 delivery estimated. They came thru and received on Friday.

I placed an order for a 44 MM SBSS with sports band and received email confirmation at 3:11 eastern. Still no movement. Hopefully soon.
The watch looks great in the pictures shown.
Thanks.

Mine left Alaska last night, delivery scheduled for tomorrow. I ordered a SBSS Series 0 within the first minute of the site being up in 2015 and it took three weeks to get past launch when every other watch was shipping on launch. It had to do with Apple not expecting the Space Black to be so popular and that the DLC coating process takes a lot longer than just milling and polishing a plain Stainless case. I think history just repeated itself. They built in a buffer by being pessimistic with Space Black case yields and pushing orders later to begin with. It's arguably the first time the Watch has changed from any perspective but tech. They actually changed the screen and case enough to make a difference noticeable, so naturally more people were going to jump on the new watch than have in previous years. Basically you have the most technique intensive model to produce taking longer to produce so order backlogs are exacerbated. The difference this time is that they actually had some cases made before launch so there were some pre-orders that made it to launch and some available in stores. But as far as I can tell, supply was so constrained that no 3rd-party retailers had Space Black inventory to make launch day, unlike every other model.
