Looking for a simple stand to raise my iMac G5 up a bit. Don't need (well, can't afford) a VESA set up. just looking for something better than a phonebook or one of those stupid monitor risers that look like something out of a step aerobics class.

Why dont you just buy a few pieces of 1/2" plexigass and have them cut it to fit and screw them together for a stand. Something like the one in this link.
