I just bought a pair of EarPods standalone, I didn't have an iPhone I use an android.

However, Im not sure as to how do I claim my 1 year warranty if it stops working tomorrow? I see there is a serial number on the wire, however, Ive read people use their iPhones to claim warranty on EarPods.

In this case , how do I claim the warranty?

Hold on to your receipt (maybe you received one via email) and you will be covered within 1 year of purchase date. Ideally the serial number holds all relevant information but it's better to have the receipt in case of any discrepancy. It's no different than claiming warranty on any Apple Product. You call AppleCare, take it to an Apple Store or AASP.

I got it from groupon , I have their receipt but it looks not professional Lol. So no receipt from apple for me.

Lets say I loose the receipt, does the serial number still cover it?

Thank you
