I have to talk to a lot of people using Skype. They seem very pleased to talk to me using headsets et al. I decided I'm not into that. I work between multiple computers for a start, and it is inefficient not to mention annoying in many ways to use a $3,000 laptop as a Skype extension.
I've been noticing an increasing number of stand-alone Skype phones and wondered which was the best.
I don't need a dual (DECT/Skype) phone, but if a dual phone provides the best Skype performance I can look into it as well. A speakerphone/headset feature would be useful in the machine but apart from that, as long as I get good Skype voice quality and as full a use of Skype as possible from the phone I'm happy.
