Bit of a weird one.

I want a big digital clock. Quite impressed by Standby mode especially on my 14 pro max as the screen turns completely off until it detects movement and even then its not blinding bright in a dark room.

However, swiping right for the big full screen digital clock is the mode for me - but.... as soon as I ask my HomePods to start playing a radio station, the "Now playing" takes the whole screen and I can no longer see the time. Seems a bit silly.

Anyone found how to keep the time present with HomePods playing music at the same time?

Well, no replies but ive worked it out for anyone thats interested.

When you are showing the full screen clock in standby mode, and ask the homepods to play some music, the "now playing" will indeed replace the clock full screen but, at the bottom of the screen is a small 'handle' that enables you to swipe up and return to the clock basically minimising the now playing.

A bit annoying that you have to do something to get the clock back and that now playing just asserts itself full screen when you might not want it to.... but thats how it works for now.
