I like stands, preferably that is aluminum that shows off the iPad in my house.

Anyone know where I can find something like that for the iPad 2

Google just mobile iPad and see what designs I'm talking about.

For me the best stand for both the iPad 1 and 2 is the Griffin Loop - it's really every thing I want in a stand - check it out.

I went yesterday to the Apple Store to buy the Griffin Loop but before buying it, I tried it with the iPad's 2 in display, unfortunatelly because of the new shape of the iPad it slips backward or forward when you have it in the stand in portrait or vertical mode, doesn't hold it secure like with the first generation iPad.

I am not sure what you mean? With and without the smart cover the stand has grooves and fits perfectly without slipping or moving. I do notice maybe a slight bit of "play" when in vertical but only if I angle it when I put in in the stand.

Me too. Love that Griffin Loop. Nice solid stand. They were on sale during Black Friday and I bought two more just to leave around the house.
