While it's unknown what has prompted a course so early into iPhone's history, many of the devices are already deployed on campus at the university

Kind of dumb comment from AI, with SDK out there, and a fall course @Stanford. If they waited any longer, they'd be behind the times. Those who were graduating from Stanford and had taken the course, would be obvious benefit to employment seekers...do'h. In fact it would be even more of a benefit is the course was offered this summer!
