Star Conflict is a freemium MMO Action game, similar to War Thunder or World of Tanks, with the action taking place in space.
There are three factions to chose from, every one of them with two sub-groups.
The factions offer different bonuses and perks, but all of them have the same types of ships: interceptors (very agile, fastest ships in game, good for scouting), attack ships (small, fast, good for capturing points, and getting into close combat fights), and frigates (slow, but with powerful weapons, good for tanking and sniping).
The game works on Windows and OS X and it's available as standalone or via Steam. It's still beta-ish (version is 0.7.x), and the wiki is still in its infancy.
Even so, I managed to play a bit and, what can I say, it's not the best game I played but it deserves a chance.
Tested on MBP Late 2011 Best, 1440x900 resolution. Works seamlessly. Whatever you do, don't set up the game on Full Screen, as the keyboard input won't be available. Let this settings to the default Windowed (full screen stretched).
