In the address bar in Safari there used to be a star-icon that you could tap on to add websites to your list of favorites. Once added, the icon turned blue. It was a necessary feature for two reasons: While surfing, you could see if a website was already a favorite and thus it could prevent you from adding double websites to your list. Also, it made it a lot easier to edit the website-information, f.e. by renaming it. Since I updated my system to macOS Catalina 10.15.7, the feature is gone and the only way to find out if a website is already listed, is by scrolling through my lists of favorites. Ofcourse that's like looking for a needle in a haystack, ploughing your way through many bookmarks. Is there a way to get the feature back, or does an extension for this feature exist? Or do I need to go back to a previous version?

I don't see this in Safari on Big Sur either. Perhaps it's something Apple changed but I can't say for sure it was there because I don't really use Safari much. It's on Firefox though.
