After getting the leopard update, eaw freezes every time I try to play, usually mid-battle. At that point, I can't even force quit the game, I have to restart. The 1.05 update does nothing to help. Is ASPYR coming out with something to fix this bug or what?

Dunno what the bug is yet. ;-)

What type of Mac do you have? What version of Leopard are you running? Does your Mac have an Nvidia card?

The game puts the video card under a heavier load, so if it is an Nvidia chipset, it's possible you could be running into the known hardware issues (which I believe are still under warranty from Apple). As well, when the Nvidia cards lock-up, they sometimes post some diagnostic information to system.log, which you can view in the Console app (found in your Utilities folder).

There are actually 2 patches: the 1.05 Rev. A patch, and a "Graphics Update" patch that addressed some issues on certain video cards that were released after we shipped the game. Both are on our support site.
