Today was the start of the Starbucks song of the day promotion. So for the next 37 days you can get one of these free song cards (different one each day). They actually have all the cards in each store. I don't think you have to buy anything to get one, but it is one card per person.

I'd like to see a complete list in order of what artist/song is on each day.

Day 1 is Bob Dylan - Jokerman

My wife works at Starbucks, so I imagine I'll have a complete set by the end if it all.

She brought home four different songs last night. I'll have to find them and post them when I get home.

From a Starbucks in Huntsville, AL:

Galactic - I Got It (What You Need)
Greyboy w/ Sharon Jones - Got To Be A Love
Sara Bareilles - Love Song
Bob Dylan - Jokerman

If you know specific days for specific songs in advance, please let me know by posting or by sending me a Private Message. I'm keeping a list here.

Going by the officially released list, I'm missing the first two.
1. Tue Oct 2: Bob Dylan - Jokerman
2. Wed Oct 3: KT Tunstall - One Day

If anyone has codes for those, I can give you codes for:
Band of Horses - No One's Gonna Love You
CeU - Roda
Mavis Staples - We Shall Not Be Moved
Emily King - Moon

And once I get the first two songs, I'll start giving away the extras. I haven't redeemed any yet. Waiting until I get home from vacation.

Strangely though, you're unable to redeem/download the Song of the Day while browsing the Wi-Fi Music Store through the iPhone while standing in Starbucks, even if you're in the special in-store only Starbucks section of the Wi-Fi Music Store. Who came up with that brilliant marketing strategy? Give us a "Redeem" button and let us type in the code number. It can't be much of a technological challenge. We only have 30-some days left of this promotion. Hurry...

dang!

for the first time in my life (afaik) I wish I knew where a starbucks was in Orlando FL. Also, this has to happen when I don't have easy transportation to/from the coffee shop.

I'm thinking about going in at the end of the promotion and ask for the leftovers. I'm almost sure they'll have some.
Sometimes they offer me a few, or leave a stack on the counter. But sometimes I ask and get one and only one. At two Starbucks I was told that they throw them out at the end of the day, but two other Starbucks keep some older ones and you can get them if you ask.

Overall, it seems to be up to whoever is helping you.

Hello. I wanted to get Rogue Wave yesterday but when I went to get the card it was all Angie Stone. Why is that??? haha Is this list pretty accurate on the song of the day?? Oh well. Well I have one Angie Stone and also one Band of Horses up for grabs. Also willing to trade if anyone has Rogue Wave.

Yes, our list has been 100% accurate.

The stores have often tried to give me yesterday's card instead of today's card. I check the list ahead of time so I know for sure, and of course I know if it's one I already have.

Today was the first time a store told me they didn't have the song of the day at all, meaning it wasn't delivered to them. I went to another Starbucks and they didn't have it out, but they found a package of them unopened in the back room.

Band of Horses is now gone.

Are people getting these cards because they like the music or because they have a "collect them all" impulse?

I admit it's the latter for me.

I found a very friendly Starbucks employee today. He or she (I dare not reveal any details) gave me yesterday's card, today's card, and tomorrow's card!

Must collect them all. And I have. All 37 are in my hand, at this very moment.

SBUX Song of the Day Trades

I'm looking to trade card codes if someone out there has extras of the ones that I need.

I have the following extra cards:

John Fogerty
Rissi Palmer
Spanish Harlem Orchestra (2)
Bitter:Sweet (5)
Greyboy (2)

and am in need of the following cards:

KT Tunstall
Joni Mitchell
Keith Urban
CEU
Gloria Estafan
John Legend

I actually lucked out and was able to get most of the collection very quickly. The Starbucks near my house had a box filled of all of the old ones sitting out on the counter and next to it had a box of all of the unreleased cards, so I helped myself to one of each!

I have a few extra "Starbucks Song of the Day" cards. They are as follows:
10-03-2007 - TK Tunstall - One Day
10-04-2007 - Joni Mitchell - Night of the Iguana
10-07-2007 - Mavis Staples - We Shall Not Be Moved
10-12-2007 - John Legend - Show Me (2)
10-13-2007 - John Fogerty - Gunslinger
10-14-2007 - Patti Scialfa - Looking for Elvis (2)
10-23-2007 - Sonya Kitchell - I'm In Love With You
10-29-2007 - Joss Stone, Tell Me 'Bout It (Live from the Bowery Ballroom) (2)
11-02-2007 - John Mayer, Dreaming With A Broken Heart
11-03-2007 - Galactic - I Got It (What You Need)
11-04-2007 - Bebel Gilberto, Um Segundo
11-05-2007 - Suzanne Vega, Frank & Ava
If you are in need just reply with your request and I will PM you the code.

@rathke35 I have no way of knowing if you have gotten the codes or not so PM if you still need.
