Where is Starbucks Passbook?
These companies making millions/billions cant even release an app update that corresponds to their promised date.
Ridiculous. :mad:

2 things wrong with your post

1. they promised to release it by the end of September; I don't care if they care, they made a promise.

2. Their app doesn't work 'just fine'; glitches all over the place.
Buggy auto reload, crashes...etc

It's the end of the month, but it is a Sunday.....like the other poster, the app is good. I've not seen any issues, glitches or bugs. YMMV.
 
Starbucks probably has their passbook app ready to go. But like already pointed out, this is Sunday.


It's only been October for 23 minutes at the time of this post. Wait until morning..
 
It should've been available with the launch of iOS 6, as it was featured in the demos. At least the same day like Walgreen's was.

exactly. you'd think that for a company that sells overpriced drinks would have enough resources to get this out on the first day.

You are missing the point so I'll say it again why does Starbucks care? They have a highly successful system of their own. They are spending quite a bit of resources redoing their loyalty program with a 10/15 launch. I bet they are busy and as I said couldn't care less about Apples card program when they beat apple to the punch a long time ago.

sephora saw 87m downloads, it would have been to their benefit to have had it ready out of gate

also, I find it strange that the apple app was not ready!! one would think they would have been first!

i bet the approval process for passbook apps is more intense than others

and since the starbucks app deals with money and revenues. i bet most changes have to be certified by auditors before they can submit it
