Do you have to pay on Battle.net in order to play with other users?

Battle.net is a free service (as of now) as long as you purchased Starcraft 2. When you purchase SC2, you will get one CD-Key that grants one account access to Battle.net. Since LAN play is disabled, you must go through Battle.net to play all single and multi-player games.

I cant install this game. Anyone know if it's possible to use the same cd-key on a second computer, as long as only 1 copy is running at a time? If 1 copy is running and the 2nd starts up, does it invalidate the key for "piracy" or something?

In the future, you may get a faster response/more help if you start a new thread with an apropriate title or post in an existing thread with a similar topic. This thread is for exchanging B.Net usernames and codes so you may not get as many people looking at your post.

As for your question I don't believe the actual SCII install is keyed at all. Instead, the key is tied to your B.Net account and your account can only be logged in once.

1 code per game? What do you mean? It's one code per b.net account... unless you can register multiple copies of the same game onto 1 account..... but why would you want to do that?

Anyways. Maybe we should also add which ladder we're in so we don't end up play with/against players in a much higher/lower rank
