Just got a MBA 15" in Starlight and with my old Rose Gold MBA M1 13" sitting around and my partner's Silver MBP 14", I thought I'd share a couple comparison photos showing the colors and thicknesses of each next to each other.

Good photos! Appreciate your posting them.

They show off nicely the difference between Silver and Starlight. In many lighting conditions in other photos, they look much the same — that is, when not next to each other. Side-by-side shows the contrast well.

That Rose Gold, on the other hand, is strikingly different. I saw one in person the other day and was staggered by how dramatic, bold, vibrant, and obtrusive the color is! (A negative for some, a positive for others.)

The photos are also helpful in showing the difference in thickness of the different laptops (especially the first photo).

Finally, what's interesting is how similar their footprints are! The 15” really doesn't look that much bigger, at all, yet in real life it has a noticeably bigger display.

Glad it was helpful!

I love the rose/copper/gold finish of that M1 Air, sad it isn't an option anymore, but the Starlight does feel really special.

In-hand, the 15" MBA just feels nice. I had a 15 unibody retina MBP years ago (2012 and 2015 editions), and it's amazing to have a slightly bigger screen in a smaller, thinner chassis.

No regrets on the MBA 15". Just wish it had the M3!
