Hi people.

I need to a start "Software Update Service" without an Internet connection, because in my network office we don't have a internet for security reasons.

I have a 1 xserver intel with Mac OS Server 10.4.11, and the clients 10 iMacs intel the last white with Mac OS 10.4.11.

In the server i need to star a Software Update Service, but I need that service dont look on the internet for updates.

i will put the updates manually in the respective directory on the server.

I have no problems for the iMacs i say to imacs don't look the updates on internet.

Thanks for all.
:)

Not possible without web connection. How is the update service going to know if there is a newer version without any reference?

Do you know there has not been a single case of successful remote attack on non-modded OSX since its inception almost 10 years ago? You are safe to plug the xServe in and check for updates.

Perhaps download the updates manually from apple.com/downloads
