This morning when I tried to sign in on my MacBook, it refused to accept my password, and wouldn't accept it a second time, sort of froze.
I hit the power button intending to power off and restart, but it gave a "double buzz" and has started with the screen you get when you first buy a Mac or Apple device. The one where you choose which language you want as the main language.
How do I get out of this, and back to the normal start? If I continue through this page by choosing a language (English), will I delete all my data and end up with a fresh install, which I obviously want to avoid? Or is it OK to continue?
I am away from home, and everything was backed up before I left, so I have no access to restore for a while.
