Hi guys, a great resource you have here, hopefully your wisdom can come to my aid.

My mac book pro will not boot up. Before this occurred the battery had been running very low for some time so I bought this Anker replacement and installed it.

Unfortunately there has been no change to the boot up issue, the apple logo appears, a loading bar briefly appears at the bottom of the screen before disappearing leaving a buffering wheel continuously spinning that never leads into a start procedure.

I wondered if anyone may have any suggestions as to what could be causing this issue and how to remedy it?

My other question is if it is a case of having to take my machine to be repaired am I able to remove its hard drive before I take the machine in to be serviced?

Any help with this would be great, all of my work is tied to the machine and the idea of having to spend £1000 buying a new one just to get what I already have is a painful thought.

Very big thank you.
