Trying to find the best way to accomplish this.
First I did an upgrade to Lion from Snow Leopard, it was a great upgrade but noticed my mailboxes were acting a bit out of whack, some rules werent imported over properly and werent being detected when mail was arriving.
Theyre pretty basic straight forward rules, a message from @x.com highlights it X color.

Now i'm starting from scratch and will add email account into Mail individually is there a easy process to import my Message Rules from my Snow Leopard Mac to my Lion mac?

I think there's a file called messagerules.plist somewhere in your Library; you could try restoring that from a backup, or perhaps Migration ass't can bring it over. Whether that file would work with the Lion Mail version is not known to me, so make sure you've got a backup, etc cuz it may not work.

Okay as I stated before I'm doing it clean/fresh NO migration assistant.
Most likely i'll have to manually add each new rule in. because the MessageRules.plist doesnt always pick up the message rules in Lion.
