Hi all, I recently got a new MacBook Pro and thought while I’m at it I’ll start to teach myself development in my spare time.

I’m currently working through Apple’s “Intro to App Development with Swift” on the iBooks store, aside from that and the Swift Playgrounds app, I’m not sure where else is best to look.

If anybody has any useful resources or even general tips/rules to abide by, I would greatly appreciate it! Cheers :)

Use the stack overflow website when you need to run down an error (but beware old replies as Swift has changed so much). Github has lots of examples (again be sure they are up to date).
I use Cocoa Controls to find interesting stuff as well.
Apple have a Swift 4 book for downloading in iBooks.
