Here in Australia it's gone from freezing to hot, all in the span of a few days. I'm so hot right now, I'll have to wear my summer PJ's.. This "winter" sucks.

Starting to feel like Summer again

I know! It was unusually rainy all during June here in SLC. But now that it is July it has been scorching, and dry! Ugh. It is really easy to get a sun tan though. 
Here in the UK we don't even have a summer in the summer We had some nice weather earlier in the year, as seems to be the pattern of recent summers, but, damn, July has just been awful.
And yet my room is still 24c at night with the windows open. My house seems to believe it's summer regardless of what the weather is doing outside! I don't think I even made it under my covers last night.

I'm in Toronto, I don't think there has been a day over 27C (80F) this "summer". What happened to global warming?
I only know it is summer here in the UK because of my Hay Fever.

Chicago has been pretty similar, we had a week where we saw temps in the 90's, but that's it. Last week it was like 65...
Iowa being a satellite of Chicago, predictably the weather here has been similar. Record lows, etc. Miserable.
It's been like non-summer here this week. Highs are supposed to be in the high 80s/low 90s all week. This is a nice change from the usual mid-upper 90s and occasional 100s. We got hammered during June with repeated 100+ temps and virtually no rain the entire month.

This was my first summer over here and my God it sucks. I can commiserate.
It was raining earlier today and now it's just crappy clouds blotting the sky.

41 degrees today in Athens. Went to the airport to take my friend to the airport, then off to the Linkin Park concert. Man, it was HOT today!
