My 2010 13" unibody MacBook Pro starts up okay, but when the desktop loads the keyboard and trackpad are unresponsive. The cursor will move but clicking the trackpad doesn't do anything. The computer seems to be working: the clock is running, the battery icon is up to date, it asks to join wireless networks. When I plug in a USB drive or similar, the computer recognizes it, but when I put in a mouse I still can't click anywhere in the screen. I ran the hardware diagnosis by holding down "d" (and with that window open I could click) but that didn't show anything wrong. I'm travelling so I don't have any of the startup disks.

Thanks for any advice!
