Startup Disk Problem with Scheduled Startup

I have a Dual 2GHz PowerMac G5 with an Elgato Hybrid. I use this as a PVR with scheduled startup as most of the things I record are from 5-11pm. The scheduled startup leaves me with a System Folder/Question Mark icon on startup. I shut down with the power button and the next manual startup boots just fine.

Sometimes a manual startup yields the same thing - it might have to do with the amount of time between boots - I haven't quite figured it out.

I've checked the System Preferences for Startup Disk and the correct one is selected. I've repaired permissions, run the periodic scripts, etc.

Any takers on this one?
