hi

i'm not sure if this is the right board, but since its more of a "mac-general" question, i figured, this is the board to go.

here's the question:
i know how to start a mac automatically on 2AM on a specific time (energy->scheduled), but is there any way, an app or a terminal code, that i can make to mac start up on TWO days not only one?

i want it to boot automatically on thursday and sunday at 2AM in the morning (for backup purposes).

anybody has an idea?

Have you tried looking into Automator? I've never really used it, but I've heard it can do pretty much anything. If not, take a look at MacSSController. Never tried it either, but it popped up while I was doing "energy saver" searches on Mac sites like Version Tracker and Mac Update. Hope you find a solution that fits.
