Startupitems folder missing

startupitems is missing/ not shown in my Library. Somehow I can find it if I search it in the find. But when I choose startupitems folder, it's empty. But I found some applications has sub-folders under the startupitems folder, which means that startupitems folder should not be missing or empty.... Why is it not shown in the Library? Is there any hidden file options on Mac?

PS, is it possible that startupitems folder is modified by OnyX?
