StartupItems problem

Hi,

I installed OpenAFS under my Intel Mac. The afsd is supposed to run since I have OpenAFS under /Library/StartupItems, however it doesn't. It works fine when I run the script manually. I'm trying to figure out why this is the case, but the system log is not so informative. How can I find out what is wrong with it?
